We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA wherever practical, and to keep improving accessibility as the site evolves rather than treating it as a one-time checklist.
2. What We've Built In
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) for screen reader navigation.
- A "skip to content" link for keyboard users.
- Visible focus states on every interactive element, not just default browser outlines.
- Alt text on all meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour combinations checked against WCAG contrast ratios for body text and buttons.
- Support for your device's "reduced motion" setting — animations are minimised automatically if you've enabled it.
- Keyboard-operable menus, carousels and accordions, including the mobile navigation.
3. Conformance Target
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This statement reflects our best current assessment rather than a formal third-party audit.
4. Known Limitations
Some decorative brand illustrations are hidden on smaller screens for layout reasons rather than accessibility ones. If you rely on assistive technology and hit a barrier anywhere on this site, we want to know about it — see below.
